The Senior Manager, Clinical Consultant serves as a strategic advisor and hands-on leader at the intersection of healthcare
delivery and technology. This role focuses on leveraging clinical expertise—particularly in nursing informatics and nursing
leadership—to guide healthcare organizations through digital transformation initiatives. The Senior Manager partners with
executive leaders, clinical staff, and IT teams to align technology solutions with patient care priorities, optimize workflows,
and drive adoption of tools that improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills

· Registered Nurse (RN) required; advanced degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
· 5+ years progressive nursing leadership experience (e.g., Nurse Manager, Director, or equivalent). Inpatient
bedside nursing knowledge is preferred.
· 3+ years experience in Nursing Informatics, Clinical Informatics, or Health IT project leadership.
· Demonstrated success leading clinical transformation, EHR optimization, or digital health initiatives.
· Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and healthcare operations.
· Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and change management skills to engage clinicians and leadership.
· Experience with project and program management, including budgeting, RFPs, and vendor management.
· Ability to synthesize complex clinical and technical information for diverse audiences.
· Availability to travel up to 25%.
· Time Management: Individual will be working with fellow employees, clients, and management, often
working on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Math and Budgeting: Client Service Senior Managers are expected to keep and maintain a budget on every
project. Employee will need to be confident in using quantitative skills to make sure they know where the project’s
money is going.
· Analytical Skills: Employee will need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical
workday. Employee will be analyzing and synthesizing data and making decisions that affect the project on a
regular basis.

Responsibilities
· Coordinate internal & client resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
· Develop meeting materials (i.e., agenda, supporting materials, presentations, and minutes) with input from senior
project team members.
· Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification
techniques. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope. Must be able to manage
‘scope creep.’
· Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
· Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
· Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
· Inform client leadership of issues, risks, and variations. Report and escalate to management as
needed. Understand what to bring to a client once we are aligned internally.
· Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical
feasibility.
· Ensure resource availability and allocation based on project scope and staffing assumptions.
· Serve as the primary clinical advisor for technology-enabled initiatives, ensuring alignment with nursing and clinical
practice, patient care and safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
· Lead assessments of clinical workflows and design informatics-driven improvements to enhance efficiency, safety,
and patient outcomes.
· Partner with nursing and physician leadership to champion adoption of EHR, clinical applications, and digital health
tools.
· Provide nursing informatics expertise during planning, implementation, and optimization of health IT projects.
· Develop and deliver training, change management, and communication strategies tailored to clinical staff.
· Develop client deliverables, with input from senior project team members. Synthesize data, tell a logical and
compelling story via PowerPoint.
· Collaborate with IT, vendors, and operations teams to translate clinical requirements into technical solutions.
· Guide and mentor consultants and project managers engaged in clinical IT work.
· Participate in the business development process by identifying potential opportunities and assisting with the
drafting of proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
· Represent client as a thought leader in nursing informatics and digital health transformation.
