Position: SAP S/4 HANA Transformation Lead Consultant

We are seeking a proven SAP transformation leader to spearhead one of the most visible and strategic enterprise initiatives in Europe. This role goes far beyond project delivery - it is an opportunity to architect and execute an SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration strategy for a Fortune 500 enterprise. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to executives, a mobilizer of global teams, and a catalyst for business transformation across finance, operations, and technology. Key Responsibilities Strategic Program Leadership Define and execute the roadmap for migrating SAP ECC to S/4HANA, leveraging SAP Activate methodology and best practices. Partner with client leadership to align business strategy, digital transformation goals, and financial imperatives. Shape global SAP template design and oversee localization for the Germany market (tax, treasury, e-invoicing, statutory reporting). Global Program Delivery Lead cross-functional, multi-region teams (internal and external) to deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes. Manage program governance, risks, escalations, and complex interdependencies across finance, supply chain, and technology. Drive seamless execution of data migration, integration (e.g., Ariba, Concur, SuccessFactors, Vertex), and cloud enablement (RISE with SAP, SAP BTP). Business & Change Management Serve as a transformation ambassador, ensuring organizational readiness, workforce adoption, and change alignment at all levels. Deliver executive-level reporting and board-ready presentations on progress, risks, and strategic outcomes. Foster a culture of innovation by embedding automation, AI, and analytics into the new S/4HANA landscape. Qualifications & Experience 12+ years of SAP program leadership, with direct accountability for at least one global ECC S/4HANA migration at a Fortune 500 company. Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, with hands-on experience in global template design, fit-to-standard, and deployment. Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise programs across multiple countries and legal entities. Strong track record of executive stakeholder engagement, board-level communications, and business case development. Mastery of SAP Activate methodology, integration frameworks, and modern cloud transformation models (RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, hyperscaler platforms). Fluent in English; German and/or additional European languages are a strong plus. Core Competencies Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders.
