Transportation Safety Manager – Las Vegas, NV

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Development & Enforcement: Design, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Risk Management: Conduct regular safety audits and assessments to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Training & Education: Facilitate safety training programs focused on accident prevention, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor daily transportation activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Data Analysis: Track and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with drivers, operations teams, and leadership to foster a culture of safety and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in transportation safety, fleet management, or risk mitigation
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA, FMCSA, and FTA standards
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to safety and compliance
• Experience with fleet management software such as Fleetio is preferred
