Job Description

Our client is looking to fill the role of Senior C# Fixed Income Backend Developer. This position reports into an MD, the head of their OMS and Portfolio Management system. You would be the right hand to the MD, occasionally assisting with team management. Investment industry knowledge in either structured finance, securitized products, or fixed income is required. They need to hire a Senior C# Backend Developer to help accelerate technology and business growth. This role requires a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and is passionate about building high-quality software. We are looking for a driven team member with technical depth and a desire to deliver end products for clients.

• $200,000 to $250,000 salary and up to $375,000 total

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust software components and frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal product and business development teams to understand and implement client development needs.
• Research and integrate new technologies to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and maintainability.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative, and feedback-driven environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 10-15+ years of experience as a backend C# developer or engineer within Finance or FinTech.
• CLO or Structured Finance Product knowledge is preferred but fixed Income knowledge is acceptable.
• Expert in leveraging C# / .NET / ASP.NET Core to solve complex problems.
• Strong understanding of Web Technologies, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Self-Starter with a strategic mindset to work independently while contributing to the team.
