Job Overview:
Medscape Education is seeking a Research Analyst to support medical education evaluation and grant-seeking efforts. In this role, you’ll assess programs that improve the knowledge and performance of healthcare providers worldwide and translate data into insights for stakeholders. Responsibilities:
Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders to understand analytical and reporting needs
Manipulate data from a variety of sources (including databases and spreadsheets) and perform statistical analysis using Excel, R, SPSS, and/or SAS, to understand trends and replicability of the findings.
Work off pre-specified templates to design and prepare reports and presentations using tables, visualizations, and infographics for both internal and external stakeholders
Assist with data exploration and analysis for evaluation and insights projects that may have open-ended questions
Assist with data analysis and write-ups for conference abstracts and publications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Behavioral or Social science, Statistics, Public Health, or Market Research or a similar field
At least 2 years of relevant experience in research and data analytics
Knowledge of research methodology and statistics
Above-average skills using Excel for reporting analysis and creating PowerPoint slides
Prior experience prioritizing and completing multiple projects simultaneously for different stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Life Sciences or Market Research or a similar field
Experience in medical education, pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
Experience working with Tableau/Tableau Server and SQL
Experience working with offsite stakeholders
Experience prioritizing and completing multiple projects simultaneously for different stakeholders
Familiar with web-based data and document sharing sites and authoring tools (SharePoint)
