Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Provider Relations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers and their staff. Your primary responsibilities will include calling doctor’s offices to request necessary documentation, assisting patients, and reviewing medical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. This position is critical to ensuring the timely delivery of medical equipment to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare providers and their office staff to streamline documentation processes.
  • Initiate outbound calls to doctor’s offices to request required documentation for patient care and equipment delivery.
  • Assist patients by ensuring their documentation is complete and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Review medical documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain organized records of all communications and documentation requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient processing and delivery of medical equipment.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare-related role, such as provider relations, medical documentation, or patient support.
  • Strong understanding of medical document review processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with durable medical equipment (DME) or diabetes-related products.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows.
  • Prior experience coordinating with healthcare providers and assisting patients.
