Infiniti HR is currently searching for a Payroll Tax Specialist to join our successful team and work closely with our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

The Payroll Tax Specialist is responsible for supporting the Tax department and its accounting needs, with the majority of duties focusing on tax related projects, reconciliation, and dispute resolution. This position is perfect for someone with a high level of dedication to quality and attention to detail, and the motivation to clearly communicate with different entities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of payroll tax experience, reporting, filing, and dispute resolution, preferably in a multi-customer service-oriented environment.
  • Accounting, bookkeeping, cash management, auditing, organizational, and data management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, with a good working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs, HRIS software, as well as email and internet skills. Strong at Excel a must.
  • Experience with Mastertax, Prism or HRP Payroll is highly preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
  • Detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Good decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and implement the best solution to solve problems or challenges.
  • Ability to professionally draft and remit written correspondence to federal, state and local tax agencies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) that positively benefits interactions at all levels.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening
