Experienced Integration & Test Verification Software Engineer

Why This is an Exciting Role:

The Boeing Space & Launch Division's Global Satellite Configuration and Control Equipment (GSCCE) program is looking for an Integration & Test Verification Software Engineer inColorado Springs, CO.

The Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapon Systems (SI&WS) Division's GSCCE program is seeking motivated, goal-achieving, and team-oriented systems engineers to update, upgrade, and develop an updated and modernized global military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) ground system that will manage the WGS Payloads for all F1-F12 Boeing-built Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS) satellites.

As a Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) member of the GSCCE team, you will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization and development to the maintenance and support of the delivered system for our customers. These roles provide opportunities for you to influence project outcomes significantly. The Boeing SI&WS Software team fosters a collaborative mentoring environment, allowing you to learn, mentor others, and contribute to shaping the future of our organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with Systems Engineering, aligning the software product testing and verification approach to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality. Advises on the setup and configuration of test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations to replicate production environments. Leads executing test cases and scenarios to verify functionality, performance, and safety of software systems, identifying and reporting defects, issues, and potential vulnerabilities found during testing processes. Leads developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, data science, or computer science and 5+ years of related experience OR

  • Master's degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, data science, or computer science and 3+ years of related experience

  • 4 years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • 3+ years of proven experience performing software integration, test, validation, and verification

  • 3+ years of experience with Web Service integrations (REST / SOAP APIs)

  • 3+ years of experience with coding, debugging and development

  • 3+ years of experience with software integration and end to end testing methodologies

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with complex systems containing many integrated components.
  • Experience with the using and/or management of Jenkins (or other) CI/CD pipeline.
  • Experience with Support program gates, such as the System Requirements Review (SRR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR)
  • Experience with verifying and performing analyses of the Technical Performance Measures (TPMs).
  • Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS, JIRA,ClearCase/ClearQuest)

Telework/Remote Availability: Hybrid work is authorized (minimum 2-3 days onsite per week)

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$111,000 - $154,000
