Education Coordinator - Mathnasium Learning Center

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic candidate to join our team as an Education Coordinator .

The Education Coordinator is responsible for ensuring educational success of each child enrolled at the center. This includes administering Mathnasium curriculum and managing the student learning environment at the center.

A successful candidate for this position is passionate about math education, loves working with kids, and has exceptional customer management and organizational skills.

Part time position available. Work hours are 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Monday to Thursday and 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM on Sundays, with option to extend shifts to 1 hour before the centre opens as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach the instructional team on good pedagogy practices.
• Work with Lead Instructor, Assistant Center Director, and/or Center Director on individualized educational curriculum for all students.
• Assess students and set student goals.
• Communicate student goals and learning plan changes to the instructional staff.
• Monitor daily student performance and track their progress.
• Communicate student progress to parents on a regular basis.
• Teach using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Other day-to-day operational and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional math competency through Pre-Calculus level.
• Familiar with TEKS (Common Core Math may substitute, but TEKS understanding must be acquired).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance leadership and instructional responsibilities.
• Experience in team management or leadership roles.
• Passion for education and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.

Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

• Texas Math Teaching Certificate, any level (preferred).
• Texas Special Education Teaching Certificate (preferred but not required).

• Teaching: 2-5 years (preferred).
• Team Leadership: 1 year (preferred).
