Responsibilities of Sterilization Technician

• Prepare all treatment rooms for safe, predictable and high quality surgery for patients 

• Treatment room set-up, decontamination, sterilization of all instruments, cleaning and restocking

• Order supplies

• Break down and disposes of supply cardboard boxes, as needed

• Take radiographic images, as prescribed by doctor (after proper certification, that we will provide)

• Maintain awareness of the comfort and safety needs of patients

• Communicate with other essential team members to coordinate patient flow and comfort

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements of Sterilization Technician

• We are more interested in finding the right candidate and are willing to train, but experience in a dental or medical office setting is a plus

• Highschool Diploma

• Sustained positivity and energy throughout the day

• Communicates clearly with patients and all team members

• Attention to detail

• Professionalism

Compensation and Benefits

• Wage: $17-20 per hour DOE

• 90-Day Review and wage assessment, with potential for increase

• 36 hour work week 

• 4 days a week at 9 hours 

• Health Insurance Benefit at 30 days, all other benefits eligible after 90-day probation

• 40 hours Vacation (Accrued Annually) doubles at year 3 of service

• 3 days sick pay per year

• 5 paid holidays
