Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney to join a boutique law firm in Calabasas, California. This firm specializes in defending major domestic and international automotive companies in legal matters such as warranty claims, fraud, breach of contract, and consumer protection violations. You will have the opportunity to work on cases involving luxury vehicle brands in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration and mediation settings. Responsibilities: - Represent clients in complex legal disputes, including warranty claims, fraud, and consumer protection cases. - Draft and review legal documents such as briefs, motions, and contracts with precision and clarity. - Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with applicable laws. - Participate in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and mediations. - Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions for unique legal challenges. - Manage multiple cases and deadlines with exceptional organizational skills. - Engage in alternative dispute resolution processes, including arbitration and mediation. - Occasionally handle legal matters in areas such as intellectual property, criminal defense, and contract law. - Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all written and verbal communications. Requirements - Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. California Bar License in good standing - Strong legal research and writing skills, with attention to detail. - Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to legal problems. - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases and deadlines. - Willingness to take on substantial responsibility and learn quickly. - Experience in civil litigation, including drafting legal documents and briefs. - Knowledge of defense litigation and lemon law is preferred. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
