Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM), under the supervision of the Store Manager, is responsible for managing all aspects of Stagecoach and Boulder Rental Shop operations. These duties include, but are not limited to modeling exceptional guest service, labor management, safety compliance, staff performance management and other day-to-day operational tasks as needed. The ASM position is responsible for maintaining business standards and has increased decision-making authority. The ASM will act as a knowledgeable representative of our brand and is expected to foster a positive culture, within the store, with other company departments, and externally with customers and vendors.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $25.00/hr
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
  • Shift Type: Full Time
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
  • Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of 4-16 multi-unit employees
  • Providing consistent and direct feedback, coaching and guidance to team members
  • Assist with staff training
  • Role model and educate staff on company policies and guidelines
  • Ensuring department and staff have all necessary supplies
  • Create a rewarding environment and generating a positive team atmosphere
  • Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
  • Communicate ideas or issues with Store and Regional Managers
  • Manage operational budgets and approve payroll hours
  • Administrative duties
  • Managing retail inventory

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience
  • Knowledge and passion for talent development
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be a team player and be able to handle fast paced environment
  • Possess the desire to offer the highest customer service standards to guests
  • Must be available weekends and holidays
  • 2 years in retail and/or rental experience recommended

The expected pay range is $25.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
